The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is a non-profit organization made up of scientists and engineers who put science to work for a healthy planet and safer world. Their work includes shaping fact-based policy to prevent the worst effects of climate change; develop sustainable ways to feed, power, and transport ourselves; fight misinformation; and reduce the threat of nuclear war.
We worked together on updating their donor communications design—to not only have a bigger visual impact but to also make complex policies and issues easier to navigate.

DONOR BROCHURES
UCS created the Kurt Gottfried Society (named after their co-founder) for their donors who wish to provide support through a legacy gift. This informational brochure was sent to UCS donors who wanted to learn more about the Society and the impact of a lasting contribution.
IMPACT POSTCARDS & Donor Thank Yous
UCS donor communications staff used “impact postcards” to send donors updates about recent work, accomplishments and events. Personal hand-written thank you notes were mailed to new donors or to those who supported specific issues or research.
